Is it possible to trade in a sprint phone for a boost mobile phone of the same kind?

i have the spint rant (samsung) and i use the incognito by boost mobile (sanyo). i know that those tow companies are merged but is it possible if i trade in the sprint rant for a boost mobile rant phone? the phone is not damaged (if at all ti is unnoticeable), and it is barely used. BTW i have the 50 dollar unlimited everything and according to the boost map i live in a great territory for bot hthat cdma thing and that iden thing as well.ALSO if i do not have to do the trade, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!....TELL ME HOW OT ACTIVATE THE SPRINT RANT PHONE WITHOUT SWITCHING TO REGULAR SPRINT! :) thank you have a nice day
