i have a trans am ws6 automatic pretty much stock except for my rebuilt tranny that has changed shift points, flowmaster exhaust, slp lid and nitto 555r drag radiails. with a professional driving and on a actual drag strip its suppose to run a 4.9 sec 0-60 and a 13.5 sec 1/4 mile stock. well i did the 0-60 test on black top and i got 5.5 sec but i only did it once. idk the 1/4 mile but i do know that my car is a bit slower on take off. i run a 0-100 in high 11 to low 12 sec. so im guessing my car will run the 1/4 mile in stock time if not a bit faster. well the thing is ive had a grinding in my rear end since i got it and im just gonna replace my stock 323 gears to 373. plus ill have to get a programmer to calibrate the speedometer and ima change it to where instaed of shifting at 6000rpm it will shift at 6500rpm hoping to get a bit more power. i also have 3 inch long tube stainless steel headers i want to put on but not sure if i will get to. but will i notice a difference with the different gears and the changee in shift points? if so how much would be your best guess. im wanting to know the performance difference cuz i alrede know gas mileage will be worse. and would the headers really help or just change to sound?

My chrome isn't working well after installing firefox 4?

So I've been using chrome and installed quite a lot (around 10 or 15) apps. It's been my browser for a long time already, no problem, and it's decent for me. Just recently I wanted to try out the new firefox. It's got most of what chrome has, plus a lot more extensions, personas, etc. So I'm using firefox 4. Then when I tried using chrome, it's... different. The url/search bar won't respond with the searches. The search link will be there, but the page will be empty. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't. I highlighted the link and pressed enter. I pressed it repeatedly. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't. I tried switching between normal mode and incognito. When normal works, incognito works. Sometimes I need to go directly to the search website (Yahoo.com or google.com, etc.) itself then search from there. Sometimes though the links opened in new tabs don't load/load forever.

Hi All, I stay in a block of flats in Edinburgh and a guy has moved in above me who continually plays his music at such a high volume that I battle to hear my TV at full volume. He continually moves stuff around the flat and dropping what appear to be heavy objects. I would imagine that his floors are laminated as every sound carries to me who stays below. Myself and the guy who stay above him have been to talk to him about the noises and he ignores us and says its his flat and he'll do as he wishes. He is a tenant in the flat and we cannot find out his landlords name to make a complaint to her. He walks around the flat from room to room and I can hear every sound he makes, if carpets were fitted in his flat it would make 100% difference to the sounds being carried, and all of these complaints happen at all hours of the day whether its 3pm or 3 am. I work as a nanny to 3 kids, and one is very difficult with huge emotional and behavioral issues. I have received numerous compliments from friends and there family on the positive changes that have came about since i have been there nanny. They went through 6 nannies in 3 years, and i am the only one who has stayed and taken an invested roll in the girl, of which i have been told no one else could get along with her. Well my question is, part of my pay, which is i believe to be below minimum wage, is to live at the house, since the mother works 24 hours shifts. I do not make enough to pay to live anywhere else. Well the problem is that the mother yells at the kids all the time, almost 6 to 10 times a day, i hear her yelling, and it seems to always be right outside my bedroom door, or my window, at ground level. I "hide" in my room constantly when the mother is here, part to give them there space, and privacy, and part because i do not enjoy interaction with the mother, because she always asks me to work overtime without pay, and she is always in a bad mood. the yelling is so distracting, and starts as soon as the kids get home from school, or when the whole family gets home from going somewhere. I can barely get anything done, from work, paying bills, all the work people have to keep up on, (looking for a new job), my entire to do list. The family is on vacation this week and i have been so productive with getting stuff done, that i have realized just how bad her yelling is effecting my emotional well being, and productivity. I have tried working in my car, and to hot this time of year, and i go to the library which is the best alternative, but then need to go get food, etc, and end up spending money, and not getting alot done because of people talking, or loud kids at the library. i would appreciate some idea's as to what other people would do in this situation. I am looking for another job, but with this economy it is a bit of a slow process. I feel if my room and board are part of the pay, i should have a right to a peaceful environment, and not have to listen to all that yelling, of which it doesn't take to get the kids to behave, they do just fine, and i NEVER yell at them, so as to show them that isn't the only way to communicate. Also when there mother is here, all the kids yell alot also, and the girl screems all the time, and fights with her brothers, when im on duty and the mother is gone, non of the kids yell, or scream or fight. It doesn't hurt. It gives you a smooth transition between gears. As for depress the clutch all the way in, you don't have too. You need to find a sweet spot where the clutch let you shift. Normally, I depress the clutch about 1/2 to 3/4 in and shifting gears. It is a lot faster shifting than depressing all the way in. One thing, you can always shift from gear to neutral without having to depress the clutch.

Car will start but won't move when I give it gas?

I was merging onto the highway and started to accelerate fairly quickly. I got up to about 110/120 kmph and then my car started to slow down while my foot was on the gas, my check engine light soon, parking break and windshield fluid light all came on also. I pulled over to the shoulder and attempted to restart the car, it would start but when I shifted into drive I could not give the car any gas and it wouldn't move. Any idea what problem it could be? I drive a 2003 Nissan Altima with around 210k clicks on it. I hope it's not the transmission but if it is how much would it cost me?

In order to do that you have to do Crtl+shift+c, and then type in boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true after doing that hold the shift button and then click on the mailbox and you should see a thing that says "Make needs static" or "Make motives static". My Chimney has 2 flus ,one for the fireplace ,one for the oil burner?

,The mortar cap is deteriorated ,so I replaced a portion of it and sealed all the edges with mortar . The two flus are rectangular and rise perpendicular to each other and form a T at the top . Where the two flus meet at the top, there was a 1 inch gap between the two ,they didn't quite touch . I filled this gap with mortar but am not sure I should have ,but it seemed if I didn't it would let water get inside the chimney,where it didn't belong . I don't know if there was always a gap there or if some how they shifted apart. Do you think filling this gap is a mistake ,and why ,Thanks!!

I had to jiggle the charger to get it to work.. Then once it started working i couldnt move it or else it would stop working. My car charger however worked fine. Why can't I view the current players in my game whenever I play Team Fortress 2?

My wife has had lower back pain for 3 days now. Causes weakness in legs, Any Help?

After an injury in 2007 she has had pain come and go every few months. The doctors would just gave pain medication each time she went. As of late, the past 3 days, she has been having pain in her lower back, hips, legs, down to her knees. It gets to the point where she can not stand or walk. Her back is now shifted in an oddly shaped "S" and she leans when she walks. On 6/27/11 she went to the hospital again and they told her she had a UTI and did not know what was causing the pain. They didn't even check her back, just gave her a shot and also Norco which didn't take away the pain just left her on "Cloud 9", so to speak. She can not sit in any position for more then 10-15 minutes. We are here to look for possible answers and/or solutions. Thank You for your help

How come my HTC EVO Shift 4G will not let me text?

My Lincoln Ls 2003's transmission revs to 3 RPM when on 2RPM, while shifting to 2nd to 3rd gear. it is automatic, and it also has a semi-manual.Its a v8 5 speed. at 96 thousand mileage.. once it revs it forces the transmission change, and makes a hard shift. I already had the spark plugs change, so that couldn't be the problem.

you have PC??? i have windows vista (i know, lame..) ok, when I got a virus, I forcefully shut down my computer, then turned it back on. when I did that, theres a menu that asks you for what mode to turn it back on. choose "safe mode with networking". then windows can guide you through what safe mode is, and what "restoring" is. restoring is to literally restore the computer to a previous time before the virus hit your computer. it tells you the restore time and date, then restarts the computer, to a point where its all gone! hope that helps and good luck.
