The Sims 3 Generations: How do I cheat my Sim's Imaginary Friend into CAS?

I had my kid turn her Imaginary Friend real, but I don't like the way he looks (and since I plan on having my kid marry him when she gets older, that does present a problem), so I want to change it. However, when I do the "testingcheats enabled true" cheat, and I shift-click on him, the option doesn't show up. I checked to see if it does on my other sims, and it does. How do I get it to work? Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? I know how to change the clothes and hair, but I'm talking about skin tone, eyes color, facial features, ect. I was afraid that this would happen, and it sucks. I'm pretty annoyed. So what do I do?
